When we move in, I'll try to get some better pics of the details of the house.

New House!
Technically, it's not ours yet, but I've gotten so many request for pics, that I thought I'd post the "before" photos. I'll post the details, June 27th when we close.
It's a Cape Cod, circa 1941, with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2700 sq. ft.
Living Room
The current owner is really into Primitive Country, so try to ignore the bright shabby chicness.

GMOs Now Linked to Reproductive Problems
On January 17, internationally recognized plant pathologist Dr. Don Huber, wrote a letter to USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack warning of the discovery of a new pathogen and a possible link between Roundup Ready® (GMO) corn and soybeans and severe reproductive problems in livestock as well as widespread crop failure.
Less than 3 weeks later, the Obama administration approved 2 new Roundup Ready® GMO crops, set to be planted this spring... Read on about Dr. Huber's discovery.

What I'm reading...
I am just in love with Janella's TV program here called "Good Chef, Bad Chef". The premise: 2 chefs - one a naturopath/nutritionist/iridologist, the other an multi-award winning chef from one of the best restaurants in Australia. On one hand, the way I used to eat, on the other, the way I want to eat. It is done with a great sense of humor, as the two chefs each make recipes from general themes, such as "Rice". They taunt and tease each other, and it is up to the viewer to pontificate on who is the good chef, and who is the bad chef.

Basically it's an a to z encyclopedia on holistic nutrition (food that's medicinal), with a few recipes thrown in to illustrate the discussion. It's been a fascinating read.
Off the back of the book:
"Janella Purcell believes that the food we eat affects our physical body, and also our mind and spirit. In this invaluable book she shares her expertise in foods, health and nutrition, and shows you how to care for yourself, naturally and easily, using food as medicine at home."
This is the video for the TV show - it's so cheeky! Hopefully, I'll still be able to watch it online when we leave.
